This year’s race was dedicated to Tami Mitchell Wong, a beautiful mother, friend and member of the Twinsburg community whose life ended much too soon due to domestic violence. Dawn Drasner-Harrison, Tami’s friend wrote a beautiful dedication for her. Read Tami ‘s dedication 2013

Course: Both races start next to Beckwith Orchards on the Portage Bike and Hike. The majority of the race is on Portage Bike and Hike, which is half paved, half dirt/limestone. The half has about 3 miles on dirt trails, the full about 6. This means there will be roots, rocks and other creative ways to hurt yourself! However, you will see the most beautiful parts of Kent. Trains wiz by as you run along the river, next to lakes and through the trees that Kent is known for. Slow down and enjoy the scenery! (More details on “course map” tab at top of page.)
